The real island feeling!
If you love tradition, nature, privacy, freedom and private grounds, you are in the right place! Paal 91 is a traditional old cottage on a unique piece of land.
View of the dunes and the lighthouse
The cottage has many unobstructed views; on the fields with the dunes beyond. To the side on the lighthouse that shines on the house with its light at night. Unique!
Free Wi-Fi
KPN Internet connection. Not super fast due to our location on the island, but it's enough for normal use. There is an HD TV with a basic channel package.
Pets allowed on request
1 Dog is allowed and welcome. We charge 7.50 Euro per pet per night.
Dishwasher
A dishwasher is available.
You can wash at the nearby De Krim bungalow park (with coins). Nespresso and Senseo machine available.
Teenage and student groups not allowed
Detached with large garden
Pole 91 is detached, the garden runs all around and measures 2,200 square metres. Fully fenced with sheep fence.
Fireplace
Central to the living room is the spacious fireplace, for extra cosiness and warmth.
Flat-screen (Smart) TV
Besides internet, we also offer a modest flat-screen Smart TV to which you can connect your laptop/tablet.
Free parking
Parking free on site. From 2017, paid parking has been introduced for the beaches and villages. Tip: buy an e-vignette online. Parking is also paid at the nearby popular Wadden beach. You can walk there from the cottage within 10 minutes.
Family-friendly
The cottage is very suitable for families. Present: baby camp bed (folding) with mattress, high chair, changing table (with changing mat), bunk bed, children's cutlery, microwave, games and a large wagon. You can use our 2 (old) bicycles. As of November 2024, the garden is completely fenced in with a sheep fence. Very safe for small children and your dog.

You can do so via our website, via VVV Texel and via Natuurhuisje.nl. Natuurhuisje and VVV Texel charge reservation costs of 10 (Natuurhuisje) - approx. 45 Euro (VVV).
Through this own website, you pay no booking and administration fees.

Enjoy and above all have a very fun and memorable holiday!- If you have any complaints: let us know soon, so we can do something about it.
- Treat the house as if it were your own.
- 1 Dog is welcome, see also FAQ. Do not leave dogs (puppies!) alone unless they are in a securely closed crate.
- It is a smoke-free house. The only thing that smokes is the chimney.
- If something is (gone) broken, report it to us at least & as soon as possible.
- On departure, please leave the house in the same layout and condition as on arrival.
- We would love to read back your experiences and tips in our guestbook or online! Please tell us how we can improve, we are open to all feedback.
